Insurance
Victims of Crime Compensation Program:
I accept Victims of Crime Compensation through the State of California and work with other similar out of State programs, as well. Please contact me directly if you have these benefits or think you may be eligible for these benefits.
Medicare
As of January 1, 2024, MFTs will be eligible to bill Medicare Part B and reimbursed for approved services in accordance with Medicare reimbursement rates. The Affordable Care Act will provide additional information on services covered as advised to do so by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. I will work with Clients who wish to utilize their Medicare benefits on their billing and reimbursement options.
Private Insurance
Though I do not contract directly with other private insurance carriers, I do work with Clients to be reimbursed through their out-of-network benefits, as they are eligible.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- What are the out-of-network vs. in-network benefits?
- Do I have deductible(s) for in and out-of-network services? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment
I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards, including HSA credit cards, as forms of payment. Note that psychotherapy is a recognized medical expense, reimbursed through HSA plans. Receipts with sufficient information to meet the HSA criteria are provided.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours in advance or you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
